Most importantly!!!

I participated in a Secret Santa Blogger deal. Basically you just sent your name to Jessica and then she did a name exchange type of deal. First of all thank you Jessica for taking the time to do this and for idea!! It was loads of fun picking out gifts for my secret santa and then I got my gifts today and that was incredibly awesome and surprising too! My secret santa (Kasey) is obviously very talented and thoughtful!!! Thank you Kasey! I absolutely LOVE everything! Kenedey got an absolute kick out of the fact that you included her and Carson and she was THRILLED with her ornament! (Click on their names to view their blogs)

Here is a picture of my gifts!

She made the hanging ornament thing and took the pictures off of my blog to make it... how clever... then the ornaments all have our names on them, actually Jason and mine are magnets. She EVEN spelled everyone's name correctly! That was incredibly cool to Kenedey! She rarely gets things with her name on them where it's actually spelled correctly! The thing laying down is a photo album, which I intend to take to work, because I never have updated pics around unless I up them on the bulletin board, so I for sure will use that for that reason. Then there is some Arbonne foot products! Kenedey tells me that tomorrow she is going to give me a pedicure with my new loot!!
Again thank you so much Kasey, it was incredibly nice of you to be so nice to me! Thanks again for being so thoughtful!!!

A new favorite of mine! (Alfalfa)
I have so much to blog about, but so little time! I have been trying to destress over the past few days, so this bloggin deal has taken a back seat. I still have been thinking all day long... oh I have to write this down... I know im obsessed, but I love looking back and remembering months later. It makes it so worth it.

Friday night Kenedey went to stay the night at with a friend for a bday party and then today they went roller skating. She was exhausted this evening! She said she had a great time!

Today is my dear husbands bday. Happy Birthday Jason! He's the big 31! Wow i can't believe im married to someone that old.... oh wait im 28 myself. UGH... were getting old!

We went out to dinner tonight and Jason's mom watched the kids. We met Kevin and Courtney (Kevin is both kids godfather, best man in wedding kind of guy to us, he has been Jason's friend since I think 2nd grade...something like that!). Anyway... had a quick dinner with them and then went to pick up the kids drove and looked at lights on our way home and that was about the extent of our exciting evening. I at least wanted him to feel like it was a bday even though it wasn't much. We vowed not to get each other anything this year... we want to move to a house ASAP!!! We are feeling so cramped in our apartment and we are getting on each others nerves! LOL So no money towards presents!!!

Here are some pics of the kiddos over the past few days! Carson's language development is growing almost daily! Tonight he said to Jason's mom as we were leaving, "Love you... sounded like laa eww" First time he has ever actually said it. Also he said "NaNa", which is what the kids call her. He is doing the itsy bitsy spider and head, shoulders, knees and toes almost once an hour! LOL... no we are not sick of it yet, its SOOOO cute!

These pictures are some random ones I have snapped over the past few days! I was of course able to capture them together in a pose AFTER I sent out Christmas Cards... go figure! Carson

rides the little people school bus around all the time... its NOT meant to be ridden on, but... he doesn't seem to care! So Kenedey decided that she would ride on her barbie horse like her brother! LOL

The eyelashes on this kid... I have always loved Jason's eyelashes, and him and his sister look A LOT alike (more so than some twins) when she puts mascara on her lashes they are like GORGEOUS... well Carson was blessed with these beautiful lashes! Aren't they just perfect!

Friday night they had a party at Carson's daycare... have I ever mentioned that I LOVE THIS PLACE! It was so cute what they put together for the kids, they had a great puppet show, a veggie tales movie, 3 different games, popcorn, cotton candy, and drinks! It was a lot of fun! They included all of the kids and their families... I was really impressed! We got gifts for all the teachers and they were genuinely appreciated! It was really neat! Anyway here are some pics. The people who are wrapped up in toilet paper are supposed to be snowmen! They had a contest to see who's turned out best! Cute!

First things first

We have a new addition!!! My cousin Kayla... pictured here just a few short days ago...

She's like a booger that won't get off my finger!

Kenedey put nearly all the decorations on herself this year!!! She did such a great job! And throughly enjoyed it. She LOVES that type of thing. She has the entire living room decorated with all of our different nicknacks.

Sometimes Kenedey says the most hilarious things out of NO WHERE!

We ran down to the farm tonight to put some Christmas boxes in storage and we came home and there was a message on the machine from Jessi;

It was talking about "The Hills" and where were we, yadda, yadda, yadda... I said to Kenedey, "She is such a dork" meaning Jessi. Ken proceeded with, "I know, but she is OUR dork". Then spouts off with; "She's like a booger that won't get off my finger"!!! I just about died laughing! I guess she got this one from her friend Taylor H. But just the fact that she put it with something like she did made me laugh. Her little sense of humor is alive and well! She comes across so sweet and innocent... which she is... but then she occasionally pulls one of these Kenedeyisms out of her bag and it's just the right thing to catch ya off track!

I am finally starting to feel a lot better. I slept today a lot. I was still really nauseated and couldn't stand up for very long. But as the evening has progressed, it's a lot better.

On our way to the farm we stopped by the Hutchinson's just to drop off a toy to Talan and while we were there, Taylor was getting sick. She was here the night Kenedey came down with WHATEVER this awful virus is and now SHE has it. It hit everyone here in this house and gosh I hope not everyone over there gets it. That was seriously one of the worst bouts I have had in a long time. At least we were able to tell them what to expect. Kids thankfully bounce back so much quicker than adults. It put me totally out of comission... Oh to be a kid again!

The tree is officially up as of 9:30 tonight. I had to get lights for it because ours were getting old and so many were burned out. Kenedey wanted LED lights so I broke down and got them. They are kind of neat. Personally, I like the white lights. But I figured since I did all white outside that I would let her get the colored ones... after all it is all about kids at Christmas. Here are some pics of the tree. Looks so much different from last year! Enjoy

The really weird looking one is one I tried to take of the pattern the lights make on the ceiling. Kenedey and I both ooh and ahhed about that one!

So much for...

Getting everything accomplished this weekend. Didn't happen.

Turns out Kenedey and I got the stomach bug crap that the boys had earlier in the week. Kenedey started with it during the night on Friday night at about 3am I hear her little voice, "mommy... I feel like im going to get sick... HURRY!" So that started the every 30 minutes or so and it went on like that until Sat. around 3pm. Awful. Anything she tried to put herself, came right back out.

We got her through that. Around 4pm I had a bowl of Rice Krispies and then by 5:30 those ended up in the toilet. Ugh. It didn't stop for me until around 3am this morning. I was/am so thirsty that I think I could drink 6 gallons of water. But they wont stay down. Kenedey ended up taking care of me. I am still getting sick and cannot eat, but the vomiting has calmed a bit. M.I.S.E.R.A.B.L.E.

I did manage to get the tree up tonight, well actually Kenedey did it. The tree is up, but nothing is on it. I feel like we have been cheated from our weekend. I had high hopes of shopping and decorating and outdoor decorating... other things! Yeah pretty much nothing got done. My mom says that there are 24 days until Christmas and that I don't HAVE to have it done until then. She said to take a Bentyl (an antispasmodic medication) and head to bed. So here's to that... Cheers to Bentyl and good night!!

One last thing... you know how they say it takes 30 days to make a habit... well I did the 30 days of blogging and now I think I have to blog everyday. But hey that's ok because the pressure is off!
